At Horse Haven Rescue Ranch of Arkansas we’re saving the lives of abused, abandoned and at risk horses. We transport horses from bad situations into rescue ranch, where they get vet care, healthy feed, time care and love, we offer training, health records and after rehabilitation, we adopt them to approved homes with application process and adoption contract and fee. We are working on creating fundraising for attending horse auctions and to outbid the kill pen buyers. We also offer education on rescue situations and pay for immunizations, gelding stallions to avoid back yard breeding.
Who We Are
Here at Horse Haven Rescue Ranch of Arkansas, we dedicate time, love and experience with rescues. My name is Christina Jackson, I have a strong passion for the best of life for horses. I own acreage, a barn and round pen to home the horses. I transport the rescues myself rather than put them at risk of illness and injury during transport. We are a nonprofit organization.
About Adoption
All horses leaving the ranch will have current Coggins and vaccines, healthy and gentle. We require references, a signed adoption contract and adoption fee paid in full before horse leaves the ranch. Adoption fee covers the cost of care, medication, fee and any fee paid to rescue the horse.
Up For Adoption
Meet Cowboy.. He is a beautiful strong built 8 year old quarter horse gelding, 15 hands tall, he is grade, green broke, very sweet and friendly boy. He gets along with others, easy keeper, easy to catch. He comes running when I call him. He is ready to go in any direction in his training. He came here sick and starved. He is now healthy, gelded, goes home with Coggins and current immunizations. Adoption contract and $950 adoption fee. I can transport him to his new home for $1.50 per loaded mile.
